Iran ‘Astigmatic’ movie enters editing stage

Iranian film ‘Astigmatic’ by Majid Reza Mostafavi enters a new stage with editor of the film selected.

Bahram Dehqan will be in charge of the editing stage as the film’s shooting stage came to a end a few days ago, a media report said.

The casting stage for characters to feature in new Iranian film ‘Astigmatic’ was completed in March with Hossein Pakdel, Siamak Safari and Hesam Mohammadi being the last three artists cast for ‘Astigmatic’.

Earlier on, artists such as Nili Karimi, Mohsen Kiayee, Baran Kowsari and Hadi Hejazifar were confirmed to play in the film.

Nassirpour, a well-established figure in Iran cinema and theater, also agreed to join the cinematic project.

Mahtab Nasirpour is an actress and producer, known for Alo!Alo! Man joojoo-am’ (1994), ‘I Am Taraneh, 15’ (2002) and ‘Killing Mad Dogs’ (2001).

The license to make the film was issued a few months back.
